Sri Lanka Global Taekwon-Do Federation was formed 1990 by the most senior Instructor M.A. Lawrence Perera. Sri Lanka Global Taekwon-Do Federation (SLGTF), affiliated to the Global Taekwon-do Federation (GTF), with its headquarters in Canada. .

Sri Lanka is one of the founder members of Global Taekwon-Do Federation, Canada.We have taught more than 10,000 students up to now. This one is the most leading TKD federation in Sri Lanka. Because everybody know GTF is with the new teaching methods and training from international Instructors from all over the world, every and each year and past few years. There is no doubt about SLGTF because of the modern teaching techniques. Mr.Pujith S.B.Jayasundars is the president of SLGTF. And the Hon. Mayor of Ratnapura Mr.Nimal Dayawansa is the Advisor of SLGTF.

This is only the first TKD Federation invite to world Taekwon-Do leader to Sri Lanka to train our students. Grand Master Park Jung Tae is only first World Taekwon-do leader to arrive to Sri Lanka. SLGTF is affiliated to more than 80 countries directly. SLGTF is recommend by the ministry of sports and National Olympic committee of Sri Lanka.

Every year SLGTF students are participating international Instructors courses and tournaments all over the world. This only one federation is promoting Taekwon-Do most dedicating for the art of Taekwon-Do in Sri Lanka. Our students won medals from several national tournaments.
